Bathroom Fitters in Plaistow and Sundridge, BR1

For a bathroom job in Plaistow and Sundridge, BR1, parking is the first practical question: the Burnt Ash Lane permit zones G and J run very different hours, both offer visitor vouchers, and the area spans two council wards, so check your address before arranging the fitter's van.

North of Bromley town centre, Plaistow and Sundridge are residential neighbourhoods where parking rules shape how a bathroom job is planned. We introduce a vetted local fitter who surveys your bathroom, plans the parking and quotes in writing. (Sundridge Park, around the station, is covered on our Bromley town centre page.)

Call 020 7946 0123 or send a short enquiry. The survey is free.

Burnt Ash Lane permit zones

Parking is the detail that most affects a bathroom job here, because a refit takes several days and the van needs to stay close.

  • Burnt Ash Lane zone G: Monday to Saturday, 8.30am to 6.30pm.
  • Burnt Ash Lane (North) zone J: Monday to Friday, 11am to 1pm only.
  • Visitor vouchers: available in both zones G and J, subject to your address being eligible.

In zone J, the two-hour midday restriction means the van only needs to move or be covered for that window. In zone G the restriction runs almost all day, six days a week, so visitor vouchers or a bay suspension are needed for the whole job. Bromley's paper vouchers must have the correct day, date and month scratched off and be displayed on the dashboard, and each is valid for one day in its own zone. A bay suspension needs at least three working days' notice through the council's permit portal.

Two wards

Bromley's current ward map lists Plaistow and Bickley and Sundridge as separate wards, so "Plaistow and Sundridge" is not one council ward. If you need ward-specific information, such as for planning consultations, check which ward your street falls in.

Homes and bathrooms

In a house, a fitter checks the route to the soil stack and the condition of the floor once the old suite is out. In a flat, check the building's rules on contractors and working hours, and how the waste joins any shared stack. Whether it's a full installation or a new walk-in shower, the survey and written quote are free.

Typical prices are in our bathroom costs guide.
